Julie Marie Fenske, MS CCP FPP

Julie Fenske is a cardiovascular perfusionist in Los Angeles, California. She spends a majority of her time in the pediatric cardiac operating room, managing cardiopulmonary bypass to allow for heart surgery patients to undergo their procedure. She received her Master of Science in Perfusion from Milwaukee School of Engineering, and received certification from the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion in 2017.

Julie has always been artistically inclined, and was admitted to UIC's Master of Science in Biomedical Visualization in 2015. She chose to pursue perfusion full time, while completing illustrations outside of her perfusion commitment. She has worked with numerous physicians and individuals to create accurate, cohesive, and educational illustrations that convey information relevant to the material.
